How to write a project?

Writing a good project is not exactly a rocket science, you can start with simply gathering the following data,

1. Name your project.
2. Gather all the available data of,and do your research.
3. Available staff and evaluate their expertise.
4. Your target or goal, be very clear about it.
5. Your customer or consumer, people you are targeting.
6. How would you implement it.
7. reporting and monitoring.
8. Evaluation.
9. Budget.

if it is for a non-profit organization;

Target your donor and the community and what help you will get from the community.

Now that you have all the data at hand, just build a format HEAD & SUB HEADS

for example,

Project name: _________________________

Principal person/ officer:__________________
Contact: Phone:
cell:
Email:

Description:Objectives here you give description of the project (just a summary)

Activities: what will it be, the best is to number them (123........)

participants: Be very clear about it (summary)

Budget: Both available and anticipated

now you start with your summary the can be many heads, the more you put in the better your project will be and easier to understand.

Under the Head summary we have some sub heads
1.overview
2.capacity
3.staff

now again a head Progress
1.Development
2. Mobilization

now the important section comes in that will be your, How will the activity be carried out.
1. your Co.s role
2. role/reaction of the targeted people Community, consumer or customer
3. Partners, which may the local church or advertisements.

How would you use your budget then the break down
1. administrative cost
2. fixtures
3. and you go on till the last detail

Justification, how you justify your expense.
1. administration, managers workers, how many and how you justify their salary.
2.3.4................. till you had finished budget break down sections.

Method of evaluation

Anticipated results
Explain in detail, this is very important

Anticipated revenue
explain

followed by monitoring and conclusion.
not just a few lines it has to have facts and detail data.

You can add a few other thing like things to do daily forms, charts, weekly reports and end of month compilation and then you telly, all this with your proposal.
